Print it at home

Every card comes with a print-ready PDF, emailed to you from the results screen: a full 8.5" x 11" sheet with the card art on the right half. Print it, fold it once, and it's a real 5.5" x 8.5" greeting card - no trimming, no cutting. The DIY is the point: it's on your table in minutes.

Print at home

You'll need cardstock paper - regular printer paper is too flimsy for a card. Any home printer that handles 8.5 x 11 paper works.

  • - Paper size: 8.5" x 11" (standard US letter)
  • - Weight: 65 lb or 80 lb cardstock
  • - Print landscape at 100% / "Actual size" - the art lands on the right half of the sheet
  • - Fold in half with the art facing out - the blank half goes back behind the art, so the art is your front cover and the crease sits on the left
  • - The inside is blank on purpose - that's where your handwritten message goes

Print at a store

Bring the image or PDF on your phone or a USB drive. A few places that can help:

  • - Staples / FedEx Office: full copy and print shops, ask for cardstock
  • - CVS / Walgreens: photo counters print cards on cardstock in smaller sizes like 5"x7" - call ahead to see what they can do with your file

Order a print

  • - Canva Print: upload the image, order it as a folded card shipped to you

Rather skip the paper?

Every card can also be shared digitally - send the image by text, email it, or share it straight from the site. The print is just the part we love most.
