Your photos

When you upload a photo, your browser resizes it locally and sends it to OpenAI to generate your card. We do not save that uploaded photo on our own servers - it lives only in your browser session and is cleared when you start over or close the tab. OpenAI does not use API inputs to train models and deletes them within 30 days per their data policy.

Email

When you save, download, or ask us to email a card, we send it to the address you provide using Resend. Because you have given us your email, we may also send you occasional related messages - card-making tips, new features, and the odd seasonal reminder. Every one of those has a one-click unsubscribe, and we never sell, rent, or share your address with anyone. Prefer just the card and nothing else? Unsubscribe from any email, or write to us and we will remove you right away.

To do any of that we keep your email address - plus the first name you put on the card and which button you clicked - in our contact list, which runs on Airtable. That is the whole record: an email, a first name, a date. No mailing address, no payment details, nothing else. Want it gone? Ask us and we will delete it.

The card you email is delivered by Resend, our email provider. It stays in their system for up to 30 days as part of your sent-email record and is then deleted; we keep no separate copy of it ourselves.

Shareable card links

If you make a shareable link for a card, that is the one time we do store the finished artwork. The card image, the first name on it, and the message you typed get saved so the page at the link has something to show. If you unlock the premium version of a shared page, the personal note you wrote and the three story images get stored the same way, on that same page. Nothing else goes with them - your email address is never stored on that page or in its address.

These links are unlisted, not private. The address has a random code in it, so nobody can guess their way to your card, and the page tells search engines not to index it. But anyone you send the link to can open it, and can forward it. Treat it the way you would treat any link you text someone.

You can delete a shared card yourself: the page and the panel where you made the link both have a delete option, visible only in the browser that made the card. Deleting removes the card, the note, and the story images; the link can keep working for a minute or two while the change spreads, then it stops resolving. If you lost that browser or want a card gone for any reason, email gabrielf at glfanalytics dot com with the link and it goes.

Cookies, analytics, and browser storage

We do not use cookies - no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, none. For analytics we use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without collecting anything that personally identifies you.

Some of what we keep never leaves your browser, on your device: your email address, so you do not have to retype it next time, and, briefly, your card image while you move between pages. Neither is a cookie, neither is used to track you across the web, and both stay on your device.

Terms of use

Cards generated through this site are for personal use - giving to friends, family, or printing for yourself. Please do not upload photos of people who haven't agreed to have their image used. Please do not use the site to generate cards that include hateful, sexual, or otherwise harmful content; OpenAI's content policies apply to every generation.

The site is provided as-is during the soft launch period. We do our best to keep it working but cannot guarantee uptime or that any individual generation will succeed.
