Who runs this

birthday-cards.ai is run by GLF Analytics LLC, California. Write to hello@birthday-cards.ai for anything on this page. How we handle your photos, your email and your payments is on the privacy page.

Making cards

Making a card is free. Cards are for personal use: give them, print them, share them. Upload only photos you have the right to use, and never a photo of someone who has not agreed. The image provider's content rules apply to every card, so a card that asks for hateful, sexual or otherwise harmful content is not made.

Gift links

A gift link is one unlisted web page that holds your card, the name on it, your message and your name, live for one year from the day you make it or until you remove it. It is unlisted, not locked: there is no password, it is kept out of search engines, and anyone who has the link can open it or forward it. Where a gift link is a paid option, the price is shown before you pay, the page goes live as soon as the payment goes through, and if you picked a day for it to open, the page shows only the names and the day until then (the link preview and the page carry nothing else; the stored files are unlisted, not locked). The email we send you carries the link and a removal link; removing a gift deletes the page and the stored images and cannot be undone.

Paying

Payments are taken by Stripe, which is the merchant of record for your purchase, through its Link checkout. Your statement shows the purchase as LINK.COM followed by our name. Your payment receipt and any refund notice come from Link by email. Prices are in US dollars; Stripe adds the tax your location requires and shows the full price before you pay. We never see or store your card number.

Refunds

A paid gift link can be refunded on request within 14 days of the purchase, to the card you paid with: write to hello@birthday-cards.ai with the link. We answer within two working days, and banks take a few days more to show it. Stripe may also refund a purchase within 60 days of it if you ask Link support. A refunded gift page may be taken down.

The service

We keep the site working as best we can and do not promise that any single card will render; a card that fails is never charged for. We may change prices or these terms; the date at the top of this page changes when we do, and a purchase is governed by the terms shown the day it was made.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without taking away any protection the consumer law of your own country gives you. Write to us first; most things are fixed by email.
