Is it really free?+
Yes, free during the soft launch. You generate the card, download the print-ready PDF, and print it yourself. There's no account, no watermark, no credit card field hiding at the end.
What do I need to print it?+
Any home printer and one sheet of letter paper. Cardstock feels much better in the hand if you have it, but regular paper works. Print landscape at 100% ("Actual size"), fold in half with the art facing out, and the inside stays blank for whatever you want to write.
How is this different from other printable birthday cards?+
Most printable card sites hand you the same template everyone else downloaded. Here, nothing exists until you describe the person - the artwork is generated fresh for them, from their photo or one detail. Nobody else's card looks like yours.
Do I have to use a photo?+
No. A photo gets you a card that actually looks like them, but one honest detail works too - "she does the crossword in pen" is plenty for the AI to build a whole card around.
Can I get it printed somewhere instead of at home?+
Sure. The PDF is a standard 8.5x11 landscape sheet, so any print shop, library printer, or office printer handles it. Ask for cardstock and you're set.
